Artists driven

Music, Movies, and More…

Southern Screen is a multi-disciplinary 501(c)3 not-for-profit arts organization that supports and celebrates artists and their work. We provide a platform for emerging and established storytellers of all types to sharpen their skills, showcase their craft, and share their creativity. Moving beyond traditional film and music outlets, we expose Southern communities to the widespread possibilities of storytelling, by curating year round events, workshops, and pop-ups all in preparation for our annual Southern Screen Festival every November.

the HEART OF CAJUN & CREOLE COUNTRY

Our organization is rooted in the culturally vibrant landscape of Lafayette, Louisiana, where creativity is nurtured and storytelling is celebrated. We are proud to welcome and support our growing creative community, offering a space where local voices can shine and artists from afar feel at home. Together, we look forward to building lasting connections that reflect the spirit of hospitality and collaboration at the heart of Acadiana.
