Artists driven
Music, Movies, and More…
Southern Screen is a multidisciplinary 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization dedicated to supporting and celebrating storytellers across film, music, and the broader creative arts. Through year-round events, workshops, and community programming, we provide emerging and established artists opportunities to develop their craft, share their work, and connect with audiences. By expanding access to diverse forms of storytelling, Southern Screen strengthens the creative community and culminates this work each year with the
Southern Screen Festival in November.
the HEART OF CAJUN & CREOLE COUNTRY
Our organization is rooted in the culturally vibrant landscape of Lafayette, Louisiana, where creativity is nurtured and storytelling is celebrated. We are proud to welcome and support our growing creative community, offering a space where local voices can shine and artists from afar feel at home. Together, we look forward to building lasting connections that reflect the spirit of hospitality and collaboration at the heart of Acadiana.
